FAQ’s

How do I find a painter/choose the right painting company?
Most people will contact multiple painting companies, meet with them, and get references to call. The painters you contact should be able to provide you with a cost, job details, and timeline. You can then choose the paint company that aligns with your priorities and you feel would do the best job.
Do you have references I can talk to?
Yes. Just give us a call, we would be happy to connect you with a few of our clients.
Can you help with color choice?
We have a lot of experience helping with color choice. Keep in mind neighborhood regulations and city regulations may have an influence on color choice.
Should I paint or stain?
The decision to paint or stain is decided on a case-by-case basis. Housing material is taken into account as well as current color or stain.
What brands of paint and/or stain do you use? Can I choose my own brand?
We use paints and stains from many manufacturers depending on your needs and color choices.
Can I match an existing color, even if I don’t know what it is?
Yes, most paint manufacturers will color match.
What type of finish should I choose?
We can help you make those decisions. Lower sheen paints absorb light and make a space feel warmer, but typically aren’t as durable. In contrast, higher sheen reflects more light and tend to be more durable.
What do I need to do to prepare for you to paint?
Generally speaking, there is not much you need to do to prepare for us to paint. Once we determine scope and schedule, we agree on a game plan for execution. We are not opposed to doing it all.
How often should I repaint the exterior of my home?
That depends on where you live, what color your home is and what material your home is made out of. It’s a difficult question, give us a call and we are happy to discuss your specific situation.
Can I paint during winter months?
Interior painting can be done at any time. Exterior painting depends on temperature and can only be done during warmer months.
